How do I set my quote and invoice defaults?

Quote defaults live at Settings → Quotes and invoice defaults at Settings → Invoices. Set them before you send your first documents — they control your numbering, how long quotes stay valid, your payment terms, and the footer text that appears on every quote and invoice.

Defaults control your numbering, how long quotes last, payment terms and footers. Set them before your first quote or invoice. Go to Settings, then Quotes. Quote reminders, just below, chase quotes you’ve sent. For defaults, open Quote basics. Quotes expire after sets how long a new quote stays valid. It fills the Valid until date, and you can still change that on each quote. We’ll keep fourteen days. Quote number is a prefix plus a starting number. Careful: both lock for good once your first quote exists. The footer shows at the bottom of every quote. Tap a variable to add the customer’s name or your business name. Invoices work the same way. Go to Invoices, and open Invoice basics. Default payment terms sets the due date on your invoices, from due on receipt up to sixty days. We’ll keep thirty days. Invoice number and footer work just like quotes, and the number locks once your first invoice exists.
