A company is its own record type. Companies live in Contacts. The Company tab lists every company, with its email, phone, and linked contacts. One way to create a company: click Add contact, and choose Company as the type. Fill in the business name, and save with Add company. We’ll cancel, and use the second way instead. Open a person from your contacts. Click Add to company, and type the business name. If no company matches, click Create company. Sophiie creates it and links this contact in one step. The contact now shows the company under their name. Their business name always comes from the company record. Open the company record, and you’ll see its linked contacts. Jobs, quotes and invoices from those contacts roll up here, read-only. To raise one, open the contact and create it there. A contact can belong to one company at a time.
